Here’s a project that I recently finished. it’s the result of my playing in flash one night and messing around creating some ambient music.
It’s not really a game it’s just a space (ha ha) for you to explore and hopefully get lost in.
You can click around with your mouse to float the spaceman in the direction you want to explore. As you move around you will trigger various sounds and effects.

I finally got around to updating my website. It’s not perfect but it works…for now at least!
This is a fun idea I started playing with while working on my FMP. I’m projecting a 3d character into an actual cardboard box. From certain angles it becomes hard to tell that the character is being projected and looks as though it is actually inside the box.

While I was working on my FMP I was looking into different ways of interacting with my game and found a neat little tutorial that shows how to make a homemade multitouch pad.
To get this to work you just need a box, some sort of clear glass or plastic, which you cover with paper and a webcam. You place the webcam in the box and then cover the box with the plastic wrapped in paper. You then need to install the software from here, calibrate it and then you have a working multitouch pad.
I didn’t have any boxes at hand that were the right size or any plastic for the surface so I sort of winged it a bit and made do with what I could find laying around. Surprisingly it worked. It’s a little buggy due to the fact that I don’t have everything put together perfectly but this could work as a nice controller with a bit more tinkering.
My box also has a face… it does not look amused.
So I finally decided to set up a blog.
The plan is to post progress on projects and things that I might be working on, or just cool/funny stuff that I find on my travels around the Interverse.
To get things going I’ll post a few of my old drawings
